Upon arrival in Amman International Airport you will be welcomed by our team and after immigration and visa formalities. Then we will visit Madaba, the city of Mosaics and see the mosaic map of Holy Land. Proceed to Mount Nebo from where Moses saw the Promised Land. Later we will transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay Accommodation: Amman

 

Day 2//21 May (Sat)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Jordan-Israel border

After immigration, drive to Nazareth and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Synagogue Church. Then visit the house of Joseph and Mary and see Josephs work shop. Then we will proceed to Cana, the site of the first miracle at the wedding celebration. Continue to our hotel for check-in and overnight stay.Accommodation: Tiberias

 

Day 3//22May (Sun)

After breakfast, drive to Mt. Tabor to the site of transfiguration. Drive through the landscapes of Galilee to the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum, St. Peters House, Tabgha, the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish and then the expressive Church of the Beatitudes. We will then visit the Church of Primacy of Peter and Mensa Christi. We will have the special St. Peter’s fish lunch. Later we go for a boat ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat from the time of Jesus. Drive to Bethlehem for overnight stay.

Day 4//23May (Mon)

After breakfast, we visit the Mt of Olives with the Church of Ascension, then the Pater Noster Church. Walk along the Palm Sunday Road by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens and visit the Church of All Nations. On the way visit the Dominus Flevit Church. Then we drive to the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth. See the Sycamore Tree of Zacceues. Later view the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him and failed. Then we go to Qasr el Yahud, the original baptism site of Jesus at the Jordan River. Proceed to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), at a private beach, we will have a unique experience of floating on the salty water. Continue to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity and then the Milk Grotto, Manger Square, St. Jerome’s cave and the Shepherds Field. After dinner drive to David’s Tower in Jaffa Gate to experience the Sound & Light Show of Jerusalem.

Day 5//24 May (Tue)

After breakfast, enter the old city and walk along the Via Dolorosa (way of the Cross) where Jesus carried His cross. Visit St. Annes Church, Pool of Bethseda and Church of Condemnation and Flagellation. Continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Christ was crucified and buried – see the place of the Golgatha, where the 3 crosses stood, a good thief and a bad thief to each side of Jesus, where Jesus was taken down from the Cross and His body was washed and buried. See the Tomb Stone of Jesus, where He was buried and from where He rose from the dead. Then we proceed to Mt. Zion. Stop at Mt Zion with the Upper Room, the place where the apostles and Mary gathered on the day of Pentecost and where Jesus established the Eucharist. See King David’s Tomb and the Church of Dormizion. Then visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantum and then the sacred pit where Jesus was imprisoned for the night. Drive to visit Ein Karem – birth place of John the Baptist.

Day 2/ Amman city tour, Baptism Site and Dead Sea

Amman In the Old Testament, Amman was called Rabbath-Ammon, and in the New Testament, it is referred to as Philadelphia after Ptolemaios II – Philadelphius 285 – 246 B.C.Points of interest in Amman include the Citadel and the Roman Theater, as well as the Archaeological, and Folklore Museums. Continue to BETHANY It has been identified for nearly two millennia as the area where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. Stunning archaeological discoveries from the 1st century AD confirm that the site was inhabited during the lives of Jesus and John the Baptist. The late Pope John Paul II also visited the site as part of his spiritual pilgrimage to the Holy Land at the start of the new millennium.  Continue to DEAD SEA the lowest spot on earth 400 meters below sea level. The Dead Sea has an historical and spiritual legacy of its own. It is believed to be the site of five biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar. Spend the day sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing in the gently lapping waters of the Dead Sea and be amazed that you can never sink! Back to Amman  overnight

 

Day 3/Amman- Jerash, Ajlun, Anjara, Tall Mar Elias, Sheikh Hussein Bridgem Jericho , Jerusalem

Jerash In the Bible it is named Antiochea or Gerasa. According to Mark 5: I and Luke 8:26 – 39, here Jesus cast the evil spirits out of a man. Today it is one of the most beautiful and best-preserve d Greco-roman cities in the world.
proceed to Ajlun The castle was built by Saladin’s general in 1184 AD to control the iron mines of Ajlun and to counter the progress of the Crusaders. The town is mentioned in the Bible as a place where Jesus, and his mother Mary and his disciples passed through and rested in a nearby cave. The cave, which has long been a Holy place for pilgrims, has now been commemorated with a modern shrine / church of Our Lady of the Mountain.
Associated with the Prophet Elijah, it is believed that this place was formerly Tishbi, the home of Elijah, a native of Giliad in Transjordan (2Kings 17:1). There are two churches that were built on the hilltop at the end of the Byzantine period. Continue to Sheikh Hussein Bridge on the other side meet our Guide.

Transfer to Visit Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, where we view Mt Temptation and an example of a Sycamore Tree. Continue driving to visit the church in Bethany where He raised Lazarus from the dead. Proceed to Bethlehem or Jerusalem  ck-in  Hotel   Overnight ,

Day 4/ Jerusalem: Mt. Of Olives – Gethsemane – Mt. Zion – Western Wall

From the Mount of Olives take in the panoramic view of Jerusalem. Then to the Pater Noster shrine, where Jesus taught His disciples the Pater Noster — the Lord’s Prayer (Luke 11:1-4). Walking down the Palm Sunday Road stop at the beautiful little church, Dominus Flevit – “The Lord wept.” It was here that Jesus wept over Jerusalem [Luke 19:41]. At Gethsemane reflect on Jesus’ final night. The Garden contains trees, the roots of which go back to the time of Jesus. Visit the Church of All Nations to pray at the “Rock of Agony,” a section of bedrock identified as the place where Jesus prayed

alone in the garden on the night of His arrest. Visit the Western Wall, to see all that remains of the Temple compound that dates to the time of Jesus. From here to the house of the High Priest Caiaphas where, He was interrogated and imprisoned.

Now called Peter in Gallicantu (“crowing rooster”), this beautiful Church also commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ, his  repentance and then being forgiven by Jesus. After Mass go up to Mt. Zion to visit the Upper Room, which commemorates the Last Supper . back to Hotel , overnight

Day 5/ Jerusalem: Via Dolorosa – Holy Sepulchre St. Anne – Bethlehem – Ein Karem

This morning we start with St. Anne’s church, the Pool of Bethesda, then the Via Dolorosa (The Way of the Cross) at the Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was condemned to death by Pontius Pilate. From there He was taken through the city to be crucified. The Stations of the Cross lead, through the markets of the Old City to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Here is the site of Calvary and the Tomb of Christ. This afternoon there will be time to revisit the Old City. Afternoon we will depart to Bethlehem, beginning at Manger Square, which stands in front of one of the oldest of Christian churches, the Church of the Nativity. Enter the Church and down to the Grotto of the Nativity which marks the spot of Jesus’ birth. Beneath the Altar, there is a silver star with the Latin inscription: HIC DE VIRGINE MARIA JESUS CHRISTUS NATUS (Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary.)  back to hotel , Overnight

Day 6/ Haifa – Nazareth – Cana

Drive to Haifa to visit Stella Maris, then Nazareth, the site of Mary’s home and the town where Jesus lived as a child. At Nazareth visit the Byzantine Church of St. Joseph and Mary’s.  Continue to Tiberias ck.-in at HOTEL Overnight

Day 7/ Mount Tabor – The Sea of Galilee – Jordan

Today, after breakfast, drive to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, with time to reflect on Christ’s Humanity and Divinity, Then visit sites of Sea of Galilee. In the afternoon leave to Jordan through Sheikh Hussein Border. Meet our Guide  at Jordan side  proceed to Amman Hotel ,  overnight

Day 8/ Madaba, Mount Nebo, Mukawir, Dhiban, Um Arrsas, Wadi alMujib and Petra
In the Bible, Madaba is named Madeba or Medeba, city of the Sihon (4 Moses 21:30). The city lies in what was the territory of the race of the Reubens (Joshua 13:15 – 16 or Isaiah 15:2 and 1 Chronicles 19:7). The main point of interest in Madaba is the mosaic map of the Holy Land from byzantine times.
“And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah that is over against Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land….. And the Lord said unto him, I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. So Moses the servant of the Lord died ….” (5 Moses 34:1 – 4).
In the Bible, Mukawir is referred to as Machaerus. The historian, Josephus, reports that it was here that John the Baptist was imprisoned, Salome danced and John was beheaded (Matthew 14:3 – 11). Continue to Dhiban In the Bible it is referred to as Dibon. The town was taken from the Moabs by the King of the Amorites then to UmArrsas A rectangular walled city mentioned in the Old and New testaments of the Bible. Just outside the city walls is the recently unearthed Church of Saint Stephen with its perfectly preserved mosaic floor. The mosaic depicts the images of the 237 Old and New Testament cities f the Holy Land, east and west of the River Jordan.
In biblical times, the Wadi, or River Arnon, formed the natural border between the territories of the Moabs in the north and the land of the Edomites (later the Nabateans) in the south. The Wadi is mentioned in the Old Testament (at the time of King David) as the river which flows through the valley to the Dead Sea. Continue to Petra, ck- in at  Hotel overnight

Visit of Petra site , Petra became the royal city of the Nabateans. The earliest historical records for the Nabateans date back to the year 312 B.C. and the last sign of life was in the year 328 A.D. Late afternoon, drive via the desert highway to Amman,  hotel. overnight

Day 10/ Amman Airport for Deparure

After  Breakfast  Transfer to Amman Airport for departure
